Our baby daughter was diagnosed at 20 weeks gestation with an incurable chromosomal condition called Patau's Syndrome. This meant that she had an extra copy of the 13th chromosome in each of her cells.
Unfortunatly, this condition has a high mortality rate and our little girl was only able to be with us for 4.5 days. She was born with abnormalities in her brain and these were what eventually caused her to pass due to fits and breathing apnea.
During her time with us, she was surrounded by family and all the love that they were giving as well as plently of cuddles and kisses from her Mummy, Daddy and big sister Sophie. Lily was born weighing in at 5lb 13oz and for such a little person, she had a big spirit that touched everyone she came into contact with and many more besides who had only known of her story through messages we shared with them.
This little girl gave us a lot of love in the time she was here and she leaves a big hole in our lives that will never be replaced.
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, so he put his arms around you and whispered come to me. With tearful eyes I watched you and saw you pass away, although I loved you dearly I could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, sweet little hands at rest, God broke my heart to prove to me He only takes the best.

I just came across your page & am i glad i did! you are a beautiful little Princess and a great loss to the world we live. I lost a princess also in march 2009, the 27th. I then had a Princess born healthy 9th March 2010!!! she shares your birthday :o) so i will always think of you on that special day & light a extra candle for you. Xxxxxx

Do you know your birthday is just around the corner? You are 2 this year and I try to imagine what you would have been like had you still been here. I imagine you as a happy smiley little girl who can melt hearts with a little smile. I don't think your ever in trouble as you have everyone wrapped around your little finger.
I miss you terribly, Daisy helps to ease the pain most of the time but there are certain times that are all yours and it is then that I hurt the most. Tears still fall for you and probably always will, my sweet precious baby girl.

Just wanted to say Merry Christmas little one. I know it's a bit late but your little sister is very time consuming and I haven't had a chance to get on here. I hope you like the tree we put up with you. We thought the little reindeer was better than just a boring tree. We missed you very much over this festive season but we also had fun watching your two sisters. Daisy much prefered to eat the paper than play with her presents and Sophie was very happy with everything that Father Christmas brought her. Daddy and I still miss you each and everyday and send you love and cuddles.
